Dear Friends and Family,
Another opportunity to obey Jesus’ command in Matthew 28 to “go and make disciples of all nations” has come to our family, and we are excited to invite you to partner with us! In June, we will be going to Spain for two reasons. First, to partner with local ministries and gospel-centered leaders to spread the gospel, serve the local church and prepare the ground for a future church plant in the region. Our family will be co-leading this year’s School of Transformation students as they grow in faith, put into practice the things they’ve learned this past year and participate in what God is doing in Spain. Second, to support our missionaries at this year’s Global Gathering. All Peoples Church has 20 church plants around the world, and we are all joining together in Spain to support our global workers with encouragement, ministry, and pouring into their families.
Our family was deeply impacted by our mission trips that we took last summer, seeing faith come alive in our kids through serving, praying, seeing healing and God move in the lives of people who have been cast aside by society. Their boldness in trusting God’s voice for who to pray for was incredible to see, and their obedience to go and lay hands on them was so humbling! That is something that they have brought back home with them, and their compassion for the lost here has only grown. We are excited to see what God is going to do in their hearts this summer, as one of them has already felt called to missions full time once they graduate!
Would you consider partnering with us? There are two ways that we need support:
PRAYER: We need grace from God for the work that we’ll be doing! Please pray for safety, boldness, covering against spiritual attacks, and for God to use us in an impactful way for His Kingdom.
FINANCIAL: It will cost $18,000 for our family to go on this mission. Though this number is daunting, we know God is calling our family to go and make disciples. I’ve been dragging my feet to ask, but was recently encouraged by the story in 2 Kings 4:1-7, about a widow whose miracle that God poured out for her was preceded by her audacity to ask her friends and neighbors for containers to carry the oil she didn’t yet have. So, if you feel called to send laborers, would you pray about contributing to our call to go?
